HR Consultant Position within the Social Administration

The position is located within the Social Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering services, and managing areas such as individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Your Responsibilities

As an HR consultant, you will work broadly within various areas of HR and provide close and qualified support to the administration's managers. You will have a consultative role where you support both strategically and operationally in matters concerning leadership, labor law, work environment, rehabilitation, group and individual development, change management, and competence supply.

The work also involves holding workshops and training sessions, as well as process leading activities such as risk assessments, conversations, and development processes. Together with your HR colleagues, you contribute to ensuring a business-oriented, professional, and equitable HR support for the administration's managers.

Your Workplace

The Social Administration is an administration that was established in January 2024. Approximately 1500 people work at the Social Administration, and there are about 70 managers.

The HR unit is led by the administration's HR manager and consists of business-oriented HR consultants and an HR specialist. As an HR consultant, you will be part of the HR team that works together to support managers within the various operations of the Social Administration. The HR team works to develop working methods so that managers experience business-oriented support.

The HR unit is located in new premises centrally located in Linköping.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR or another academic qualification that the employer considers equivalent. If you have taken advanced courses in labor law, rehabilitation, and work environment, it is a plus. You should have at least two years of experience working in the HR field and be confident in working consultatively with managers. Experience working in the public sector and familiarity with navigating and interpreting laws and agreements within the HR field is preferred.

It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of labor law and work environment issues, as well as experience working with a coaching approach. We use Swedish as our working language, so it is important that you can express yourself nuanced in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You should have knowledge of working according to a digitalized working method, and experience working with the systems Heroma or Qliksense is considered an asset.

To thrive in this role, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your assignments. You work with a coaching approach and have good collaboration skills. You are aware of your strengths and weaknesses and have a realistic belief in your own abilities. You adapt well to changing conditions and have a professional and mature approach in your interactions with managers and employees. You are calm and accommodating in your demeanor and have the ability to see connections and find solutions. Since the role involves many collaborative areas, we place great importance on your ability to work well with others and build trusting relationships.
